We celebrated Tyler's birthday while we were on our Jekyll vacation. He decided he wanted to go to Tokyo Joe's Japanese Steakhouse. All the gang was there!! Happy birthday, Ty Ty!!

Jekyll Trip 2009

We borrowed an RV (thanks Uncle Eddie!!) and went camping at the Jekyll Island campground for vacation. Gail, Les and their kids took Mema and Graddaddy's RV and parked next to us. We all had a ball camping out...going to the beach...taking off on bike rides...it was a blast!!

Happy 4th!!

This year for the 4th, we headed out to the Mall of Georgia to catch the fireworks. We found a great place to park - next to a Krispy Kreme!! The boys were so excited and it was hard to keep them pinned in!

Trip To The Mountains

We went to the mountains (near Highlands, NC) for the weekend and had a wonderful time!! The boys couldn't get enough of playing in the little mountain stream that was running behind the cabin. It was a great getaway!!

Day Trip To Jekyll Island

Gail and I loaded up Mama and Daddy's RV with all six kids and took off for a day trip to Jekyll Island. It was quite an adventure! Mama and Daddy were already there for a conference, so they drove over to the beach and had some fun in the sun with us!

Granddaddy was the Mighty Crab Catcher for the day. Gail and I chased the thing down, but couldn't get the job done...that's what Daddies are for! And it's a good thing - the crab got him on the finger with that big claw!

I was getting very frustrated with Tyler because I couldn't get him to swim without swimmies. I had already let ALL the air out of his swimmies, and then even made him remove one of them - but he still wouldn't swim! And heaven forbid he get any water in his eyes! Aunt Gail stepped in and within 2 hrs. had him swimming AND jumping off the side!

On the way down to south Georgia, we packed our lunch and had a picnic instead of picking up fast food. We stopped at a rest stop and let the boys eat and run around a little, and they loved it! We may have started something here...
